The hunting, mining and crafting activities can prove to be profitable, sometimes hugely so. But consistent and guaranteed profit is elusive, even for many highly skilled players. Only the company that runs Entropia Universe, namely Mind Ark, knows how consistent profit can be extracted, and they are not telling.
But one way that you can profit consistently is through trading. There are many items on Entropia, ranging from weapons, tools and armor to resources like ores and ematter. A lot of these are regularly used or needed by the players, so they are in demand and you can trade them profitably.
All you need is a bit of starting capital, buy higher quantities of the items to get a lower price, and then sell them for a higher price at lower quantities. You can take advantage of the auction, or the in-game chat system, to perform your trades. A capital of US$ 100 or 1000 PED should be enough to get you started. Alternatively, you can earn your capital in-game through an activity called sweating, but expect to sweat continuously for at least a month or two before you earn US$ 100.
